Primary Education College

There are 21 faculty members in Primary Education College of Lanzhou Vocational and Technical College. It has a preschool education major with 708 students.

The teaching equipment is advanced and complete. There are many special classrooms for music, art, and dance, 107 pianos(including digital pianos), 60 piano rooms for students, and a number of multimedia teaching facilities, which ensure the demand of education teaching. 

After graduation, students can not only obtain the Certificate of Preschool Teacher Qualification, but also have the opportunity to obtain the Certificate of Dietitian and Nursery Teacher, providing students with more choices for graduation.

Training objectives: To cultivate the preschool teachers and the primary school teachers in remote areas, with good teacher ethics, master rich and solid scientific and cultural knowledge and professional basic knowledge, and understand the basic theory of preschool education, and with the innovation consciousness and solid preschool teaching skills.

Employment direction: The graduates can engage in language education work in primary school and language education work in junior high school in remote areas; Language, writing and cultural work of social enterprises and institutions.
