Intangible Cultural Heritage College

It’s the first Intangible Cultural Heritage College in higher vocational colleges in China, the college has hired 22 non-hereditary inheritors, national and provincial masters of arts and crafts as visiting professors. Now, it has built seven master workshops, including Taoyan, Thangka, paper-cutting, colored pottery, brick carving, gourd carving, enamel mural painting, etc.There are 150 students.

The Intangible Cultural Heritage College of Lanzhou Vocational and Technical College rooted in the specific natural environment and a long historical, humanistic and ecological environment in Gansu Province, In the future, it will work hard to build it into the Non-genetic Inheritor Cultivation Base, the Non-genetic Manual skills training base, the Non-genetic Cultural and Creative Product Research and Development Base, the Non-genetic International Exchanges and Cooperation Training Base in Gansu Province. Six intangible cultural heritage project art research centers will be established, including Thangka Art Research Center, Taoyan Sculpture Art Research Center, Brick Carving Art Research Center, Enamel Painting Art Research Center, Paper Cutting Art Research Center and Gourd Sculpture Art Research Center. To build the Intangible Cultural Heritage Cooperation and Exchange Vocational Education Group in Gansu Province, to establish the Government, School, Enterprise and Research Alliance of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
