Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department

There are 56 full-time teachers and 14 part

time teachers who are mainly skilled technicians in industrial enterprises.There are eight majors,

including Numerical Control Technology, Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation, mechatronics, Electric Automatization Technology, Mold Design and Manufacturing, Welding Technology and Automation, Photovoltaic Power Generation Technology and Application, Photovoltaic Material Preparation Technology. 

The Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department has built a productive training base of teaching factory and school-enterprise co-construction, a state-level mechanical engineering training center with a construction area of 6,700 square meters and the first robot welding (Lanzhou) training base authorized by China Welding Association in northwest China undertook the 2018 China Robot Welding Skills Competition.
